The Government have constituted the Ananthapuramu-Hindupur Urban Development Authority (AHUDA) with Headquarters at Anantapuramu with an extent of 3120.05 Sq.kms stretching from Ananthapuramu Municipal Corporation, Dharmavaram municipality, and Hindupur  municipality with covering 180 villages in 18 Mandals vide G.O.Ms.No.110 MA&UD(H1) Department dt: 24-3-2017

The Government have included Uravakonda Constituency with five (5) complete Mandals ie., Kudair, Vajrakarur, Beluguppa, Urvakonda and Vidapanakal with a total Extent of 1900.44 Sq. Km in Anantapuramu-Hindupur Urban Development Authority vide G.O.Ms.No.167 MA&UD(H1) Department, Dt: 22-5-2018

The Government have included Rapthadu Constituency with five (5) complete mandals i.e, Raptahdu, Atmakuru, Ramagiri, Chennekothapalli and Kanaganapalli with an  extent of 1570.89 Sq.kms in Anantapuramu-Hindupur Urban Development Authority and the AHUDA Region is 6591.38 Sq.kms with 331 villages & 3 ULBs vide G.O.Ms.No:78 MA&UD (H1) Dept Dt: 28-01-2020

The Government have excluded 3 Mandals i.e., (i) Puttaparthy Rural (ii) Bukkapatnam (iii) Kothacheruvu from AHUDA jurisdiction at an extent of 286.37 Sq. Kms. with the area of AHUDA Region is 6,305.01 Sq.kms with 308 villages & 4 ULBsvide G.O.Ms.No:58 MA&UD (M) Dept Dt: 13-05-2022

The Government have included 4 mandals of Dharmavaram Assembly Constituency namely Bathalapalli, Dharmavaram, Tadimarri and Mudigubba Mandals admeasuring 900.10 Sq.Kms in Ananthapuram-Hindupur Urban Development Authority (AHUDA) jurisdiction vide G.O.Ms.No:91 MA&UD (H1) Dept Dt: 07-07-2022

The Government have included additional 83 Revenue villages of 6 Mandals of Kadiri Assembly Constituency namely Kadiri, Talupula, Nallacheruvu, Tanakallu, Gandlapenta, Nambulapulikunta Mandals & Kadiri Municipality admeasuring 1358.55 Sq.Kms, 72 Revenue villages of 5 Mandals of Penukonda Assembly Constituency namely Penukonda (Part), Somandepalli (part), Gorantla (Part), Parigi and Roddam Mandals admeasuring 929.255 Sq. Kms  and 78 Revenue Villages  of  6 Mandals of Singanamala Assembly Constituency namely Siganamala, Garladinne (part), Bukkarayasamudram (part), Narpala, Putluru and Yellanuru Mandals admeasuring 1295.34 Sq.Kms, total area (1358.55+929.255+1295.34) = 3610.11 Sq. Kms in Ananthapuram-Hindupur Urban Development Authority (AHUDA) Region vide G.O.Ms.No:143 MA&UD (H1) Dept dated: 28-09-2022

Further the Government have included 22 new Mandals i.e., Guntakal, Gooty, Pamidi, Brahmasamudram, Kundurpi, Kalyandurg, Settur, Kambadur, Gummagatta, Bommanahal, Kanekal, Rayadurg, D.Hirehal, Yadiki, Peddavadugur, Tadipatri, Peddapappur, Madakasira, Gudibanda, Agali, Amarapuram & Rolla with 387 Grama Panchayats and 6 ULBs of Ananthapuramu and Sri Satya Sai Districts with area of 6905.83 Sq. kms and the 11 missing Villages within the existing AHUDA boundary with area of 116.50 Sq. kms admeasuring an extent of 7,022.33 Sq.Kms into the jurisdiction of AHUDA vide G.O.Ms.No:169 MA&UD (H1) Dept dated: 04-11-2022

 Now, the total extent of AHUDA jurisdiction is 17,837.66 Sq. Kms with 993 Villages / Revenue Villages / Gram Panchayats in 57 Mandals and 11 ULBs in two districts i.e, Anantapuramu District and Sri Sathya Sai District.
